[Ger-Poland-Volhynia] Buckwheat Sausage

In case anybody is interested, Buckwheat sausage is available from  "K.& K " Food
Liner, White Avenue, in  Edmonton at $12.99 Kg (frozen.) I have tried this sausage a few times myself and the sausage is very tasty.

Just a matter of interest:
There is a book in the SGGEED Library : " My Kashubian Heritage " . On page 41, 
a field of Buckwheat is being mentioned. Shortly before being harvested, the field of Buckwheat has a reddish tint. 

Buckwheat is a important part of the Kashubian diet. Buckwheat  will grow on poor soil and still produce a good harvest. Some parts of Kashubia ( part of Pommern ) has very poor soil
