[Ger-Poland-Volhynia] The village of Pustomyt

Message for Mr. Scott Peebles.

Mr. Scott Peebles, many thanks for your message. This is the first time that I got in touch with somebody who has some
connection to the village of Pustomyt.  I was under the impression that there maybe  two villages with the name of Pustomyt. 
I remember my sister-in-law telling me that her family lived in Pustomyt, district of Horochow  or district of  Szczerzec.  Checking the LDS data base, I see that there is only one Pustomyt listed under two different administrative jurisdiction , one for the Roman catholic parish of Pustomyt / Lwow and one for Greek catholic church Pustomyt / Szczerzec. So, I think that I am on the right track, by assuming that the Pustomyt close to Lviv is the one, that I'm looking for. I do have some pictures from this villages. A lady I know lives in Lviv and she went to Pustomyt and took some pictures for me.  I also checked the data base from the SGGEE and searched  for  my wife's family name. Guess what, I found some of her folks. It pays to check the SGGEE data base more often. Anyway, many thanks for getting in touch with me.
