[Ger-Poland-Volhynia] Bierwagen Family History

Hello,
 
I am seeking information on several ancestors who came to Canada from the
Kurowek area.
 
Frederick (aka Ferdinand) Valentyne Bierwagen and his son (my grandfather)
Rudolf Bierwagen sailed from Hamberg on April 21, 1903.
 
Other members of the family, Henrietta (nee Schmidtke, Schmidt, or
Schmidtkey), Olga, Matilda, Mary, and Adolf followed on August 12, 1903.
 
Two of Henrietta's brothers, Michael and Daniel remained.
 
Frederick (aka Ferdinand) Valentyne Bierwagen returned to the homeland
around 1918 and I do not know what happened to him or where he died.
 
I would dearly love to explore our family history there and learn more about
my ancestors.
 
If anyone can help, I'd be most grateful.
