[Ger-Poland-Volhynia] looking for Mitzlaff

Has anyone heard the name Mitzlaff.  I have a Rhinehold Mitzlaff born 1874, married to a Wilhelmine Loraf born in 1850, some place in Pommern I think..  In 1880 census they were in Ironton, Lawrence Co. Ohio, and in 1930 they were in Lyndenhurst, Suffolk Co. Long Island New York.
No information for census records between, lists of children scarce and no
records of their deaths.
Anyone have any ideas?
