[Ger-Poland-Volhynia] Immigration from Canada to USA

    There are 32 pre 1900 films of passenger arrivals in Quebec/Montreal and Halifax that would make an ideal extraction project for an SGGEE volunteer or volunteers.
    The nice thing about these films, they can be requested for viewing from the Canadian National Archives by local public libraries at no cost, .  I understand that they are also available at Family History Centers and a Canadian provincial archives.  
    Public libraries are the most user friendly places to view the films because there is no cost involved.and relatively unrestricted hours.   Someone with a laptop could spend quality extraction time without a great deal of travel.
