This isn't generally a place to research Bessarabian interests but we
will try to help as best we can. What can you tell us about the
state of your hard research on this family? At what location and
time is your earliest record? What is the source of your current information?
The reason for asking this is that the Lutheran records for
Bessarabia are on line at
http://www.odessa3.org/collections/stpete/bess/ and I see nothing
similar to that surname in that database. In addition, we know that
the majority of German migration into Bessarabia did not take place
until Napoleon's invasion of Europe - c.1812 and later.
There are two Laudin entries in the Volhynian database of Lutheran
records, both after 1880.
