Last week I received film # 2380035 listed as have Tuczyn and Wladimir
Wolhynsk records; most of these records I had already looked at in the
Warsaw Archives in 1996.
Here is what this microfilm has:
It starts with the births of Old Berestowitz(starts as #1 in 1867 running to
#293 in 1888);
next-Berestowitz Marr. Banns 1873,1874,1877,1878,1880(26 Marr banns);
next - Berestowitz deaths:
1870,1871,1873,1874,1875,1878,1879,1880,1881(total 55 deaths);
next item-Berestowitz Deaths: 1880, 1881, 1882,1884,1885,1886,1887,1888(#41
to #135);
next- appears to be the village of Rudenka in the Tuczyn parish; I am not
sure if it was at one time known as Josefowka but a large number of the
records list the people as having come from Josefowka as well as Rudenka.
Records are: Births 1868 to 1893; Banns 1877 to 1892;(deaths were omited,
although they were there in 1996 when I searched through the book; they
covered 1876 to 1893);
There were in total 15 marr. banns with partners coming from several other
villages; mentioned are Kolowert, Miniatin, Karczemka, Kruche, Rudi,
Niespodzianka, Samostich, Josefowka, and Kuty Zalesie.
Records I was not able to check personally in Warsaw were the Parish records
of Wladomir Wolinsk;
This film has the births running from 1891 to 1895;
1891-482 births; 1892- 865 births; 1893- 941 births; 1894- 906 births; 1895-
982  births.
The records are neatly written on pre-printed sheets in the form of columns.
1891 was German and from 1892 on is in cyrillic; however the childs name is
written in German as well as cyrillic.
1891 the headings are printed in German; 1892 only the headings are still
printed in German but the written detail is in cyrillic; from 1893 onward
the printed headings as well as the written information is in cyrillic, but
the childs name(family and given)are as well in German as well, as cyrillic.
Over all, these records have much more detail than the St. Petesburg
records. If your relatives lived the right village in the Tuczyn/Rowno
parish or the Rozyszcze or Wlad. Wol. parish you are in luck.
