Another way of rendering German TZ or Polish C in Cyrillic would be the
letter that looks like a lower case u, that has the right vertical extending below
the line in a sort of hook. If you have access to a chart comparing the
Russian alphabet to sounds in comparable languages, you will find the one that I
mean.
Each scribe offers different solutions. And do not necessarily try to use
their best handwriting...
