Dear Margrit,
My father's cousins were Arndt...from Oregon. Cousins were Ruth and Ester,
still alive in region but very old. ) Their parents were John(might be
Johann) and his wife, Ottilie. My father was adopted by the Dether family
and brought to the US as a 3 yr old in 1906. His mother's sister married an
Arndt. You might already have this info but if not let me know.. Maybe I
can fill in some gaps. Oh, and by the way they came from Moisejewka,
Volhynia, near Kolowert. I was there on a trip last year and visited all
that area.

Juliane Arndt, born 25.12.1904 in Kolowert. Now, I found her
deathcertificate and her place of birth is named as Horodyszcze
(Horodishche). Perhaps somebody knows something about Arndts of Horodyszcze.
The birthname of her mother was probably Friedrich. Appreciate every answer.
