Fellow researchers:

The following may be of value to anyone planning to visit the Zhitomir 
Archives: There are documents stored there that contain the vital records of 
the Lutheran Parish of Heimthal for the years 1899-1914, that as of now 
cannot be obtained from the St. Petersburg Consistory.

Mr. Efim Melamed, a genealogist who lives in Zhitomir, was able to find 
information regarding many of my family members covering the above mentioned 
time frame. He found the data in 21 different documents stored in the 
archives.
