Thanks John for your suggestion.  Rose Ingram happened to have the film on 
hand and has sent me the copy of the birth/baptism record.  It does appear to be 
1877 which would make him only 14 when he married in 1890 or early 1891.  Not 
sure this is likely even though there are indications that this Christian is 
connected to the right family and from the right location.

Will have to continue to search for the marriage record.
