If your ethnic German ancestor found him/herself a refugee in Austria at
the end of the War......a rather dry, but well researched study  by Dr.
Tony Radspieler, part of his PhD in Economics and Law at the U. of
Zurich.   With lots of statistics.  Published in 1955.  Scroll through the
index. Also searchable. However there is a good general history of the
refugee groups.  About 200+ pages.

Many of these ethnic Germans also emigrated to the West.
