Dear Warren,It seems you are not familiar with the SGGEE website. If you go to sggee.org and in the side menu bar select Research > Parishes you will be brought to a page with different links. When you select the hyperlink for Lutheran parishes in Russian you will see a huge table listing all the parishes and if any records are online and you can go directly to them.
It might be good for you to study all the resources SGGEE puts up online. Perhaps many of your questions will be answered there and you will learn the skills to do genealogical research for our group of Germans. If you are not a SGGEE member you probably need to become one. I say need because the tools we provide in our members only area are not found anywhere else. Ancestry.com has very little of benefit for us once you try to research in eastern Europe.
