Dear list members,

thank you for answering my question and having such good ideas!

My first opinion was, that this man had a job with horses too. But he was  
not rich and so he could not be a horsedealer or a horsebreeder. Perhaps  
he made saddle and breadle? I asked my Polish friends and they didn`t know  
this word. It doesn`t exist in Polish language today! But this word is  
used in Slovak language and the meaning horse groom is correct.
