[Ger-Poland-Volhynia] 2 Erhard Fennings?

The first Erhard was born 5 Dec. 1887 and died 6 Dec. 1887, age 1 day old.  You will find this death under the surname spelling of   Fennich. 

All Volhynian entries extracted from films # starting with 238xxxx are now online.  From the Research tab on the SGGEE.org home page, slide over to parishes.  Choose Lutheran church records in Volhynia.

Scroll down to Rozyszcze and look for the year,film # and AGAD in maroon.  THis will open to digital copies from the original records which were filmed.

  sorry should have read 1887 not 1881

  I don't recall any stories of Grandfather Erhard ever having a brother by the same name 
  until SGGEE I never knew of another possible Erhard, but yes I would have to agree that if another existed
  I too would think that one of them had passed on.

  It is possible the Erhard born in 1881 died before Oct 1892, so they named this second the same name.

  Have you looked for any deaths of the first born Erhard?

    It would appear that SGGEE has 2 Erhard Fennig's -one of which is my grandfather. We always celebrated his birthday as 19 Oct so I would believe that

    I live in an area that has no access for me to order fiche film to see if these are different Erhard's or if one is an error 
    Does anyone here by any chance has access to these? 
    I would love to solve the puzzle.
