To the list,
For those searching in *Manitoba,* there was a recent Winnipeg Free press
item on the Manitoba Historical Society
Mapping out Manitoba's history
http://www.winnipegfreepress.com/local/Mapping-out-Manitobas
-history-389419542.html
The *Manitoba Historical Society *website http://www.mhs.mb.ca has some
great info - *PLUS digitized Manitoba histories of various locations in the
province. * Gordon Goldsborough is also the webmaster of their Memorable
Manitobans site.
They also have a Facebook page which might elicit answers to your
questions... https://www.facebook.com/groups/manitobahistory/
Even if you don't join, it makes some interesting reading.
*The Max Kade Institute for German-American Studies* at the U. Wisconsin in
Madison http://mki.wisc.edu/
has some amazing resources - history, genealogy, links, etc. (SGGEE is
listed as a German genealogy link). No specific Wolhynian reference except
that cited for SGGEE, however the site is definitely worth a browse. And,
if you live within driving distance, you can probably take advantage of
some of their courses and research facilities.
Have a good weekend!
Helen
