Kenneth,

I have a Lydia Mantei, born 9 Jun 1895 at Mieczyslawow, Kries Luck, 
Volhynia, parents Ludwig Mantei and Emma Rachui.  Is this by chance the 
Lydia Mantei married to Andreas Lachmann?  If so, I would be grateful if you 
would email me scans of the documents you mentioned.

Mantei is a family line of limited interest for me. My great grand
uncle, Andreas Lachmann was married to Lydia Mantei. I have
their immigration record which lists parents and three children. About
ten years later they attempted to move south to the U.S.
but were "debarred" at the border. I have a copy of that document as
well. I also have a handwritten document regarding my
great grandfather's younger brother, Andreas, which is in my paper files.
Much of my Mantei information was confirmed by a person I met through
the internet, Ansgar Manthey, whose email address
is in Germany. Please write me from an email address to which I can
send you copies of these documents.
