[Ger-Poland-Volhynia] Parishes and Villages

I found Slubin using http://mapa.szukacz.pl/ It would be within the Przedecz parish boundaries.

If you followed Sigrid's instructions you should be able to locate Kristine's 1881 death record.

What I wanted to mention is that Pradziad does not link to any scans, it only shows what vital records are in various State Archives.

For some reason Przedecz Evangelical records from 1828 to 1875 are in the Wloclawek Archive office. It mentions no microfilms are available, but this is not true, there are filmed records from 1828 to 1865 and should have been noted on the webpage - LDS has copies of them. 1866 to 1874 got missed in the filming years ago.
(Chodecz parish records after 1865 were not filmed either.)

Przedecz records from 1876 to 1911 are in the Konin Archive office and are film to 1885. So far only a few years of records have been digitized so far, these being 1878 to 1885 and no handwritten indexes either. Of course they are written in RUssian.

  Gail,

Before I comment further, where or on what document did you find the death place?

  Rose

    Thank you Rose and Sigrid,

In my tree I have that Anna Kristine Neumann Krueger died 1 Oct 1881 in Slubin Przedecz. (1) So do I look in the records for Przedecz? (2) When I look at the PRADZIAD database it shows no current scans for the church. When I follow the link for Przedecz from the SGGEE website it brings me to scans on the szukajwarchiwach.pl wesbsite.

I know I have got to be doing something wrong.

    Gail

    Gail and others

    Go to https://familysearch.org/ website,

From the Search tab at the top, drop down to Catalog,
next page, choose Search by Author,
Type in the name of author as kosciol ewangelicki ,

Next page should give you 85 parishes in the area which was once called Congress Poland. Some of these towns also have Catholic parishes.

For some reason this list does not include Lask parish, but it can be brought up by searching by Place. There may be other parishes which are not on this list which I do not know of.

You can also search for kosciol ewangelicko-reformowany
    which will show 9 matches.

I would suggest printing out these lists and keeping them handy, or bookmark the webpages.

    Rose

I am still struggling with figuring out which Parish is associated with my towns or villages. Anyone have any easy to follow directions or tips?
