I am a descendant of Gotlieb (John) Backus son of Karl Backus and Hannah Hammer. His wife was Wilhamine Ott(o). They lived in Friedrichsdorf and came to Benton Harbor Michigan in 1895. I would be interested in sharing information. S Carlson
