[Ger-Poland-Volhynia] For anyone attending the meeting in Gatineau

For anyone who will be attending our meeting in less than two weeks I would like give a live demonstration of searching the Odessa 
Digital Library (ODL) for EWZ data. I would prefer looking into a case where someone has not searched this database for names of interest. 

For anyone to be in the database they or any children should have been alive at around 1942-1944 and lived in Soviet Russia (pre-WW II boundaries so Poland, Galicia and Polish Volhynia do not qualify) in a town where German troops progressed far enough east to release them from communism. You may not know if they had been processed by EWZ but I can help determine that in this demonstration. In order to know if I find the right person an approximate birthyear or town of residence would help.

Please send me personally any suggestions of names that might be used and I may be able to use your case to demonstrate how to search ODL and interpret the data that is presented by the search results.
