[Ger-Poland-Volhynia] Convention question from Facebook

I posted a reminder about the upcoming convention on the Polish Genealogy
Facebook page and I had a question...

Micheline Nitschke: I live in Ottawa and could easily attend. But I don't
know where best to learn more about my Silesia ancestor lines... if this
would help. I only know from DNA testing that I have many Polish/Russian DNA
cousins.

Can anyone answer this, either here or on the Polish Genealogy Facebook
site?
