Hi, I just looked up HOFFMANN in the Kneifel listing and found:
Hoffmann, Friedrich Julius.  Came froim Kurland, studied Theology in Dorpat 1832-1836; Pastor in Grodno 1843-1867.  died there 17 June 1867.  Married to Emma Karoline Goehring who died 1904 in Mitau.  Hope this helps someone!
