The first link there is a comparison I did of Family Tree Maker, PAF and
Legacy in 2004. It appears to still be mostly correct.
The other two links at the above web page were courtesy of Geoff
Rasmussen who has presented at two of our conventions, and who works for
the people who make Legacy.
I am always open to hearing about good genealogy software, but so far,
Legacy is the one I prefer. I use it daily to manage the more than
525,000 records in our Master Pedigree Database. I find it very easy
to use, and at the same time very powerful. My perspective on ease of
use may be a bit warped at this time, however, since I have used it for
for about 15 years now.
