Eva Rosalie Noerenberg/Martel/Mekelburg  was my g grandfather's sister (August Norenberg). I remember meeting Samuel Mekelburg in Winnipeg around 1990 approx. If you have any specific questions let me know. I even have a photograph of their home in Volhlynia Regards Robert Norenberg

I am looking for any information for Josef (Joseph) Meklenburg born about 1860 in the Lublin area of Poland. He died about 1817 in the Nikolaipol area in Volhynia, Poland (then Russia). His first wife name unknown died and there were no children.  He later married a widow, Eva Rosalie Martel, maiden name Noerenberg, and had a son Samuel in 1909 in Nikolaipol. Josef had a brother name unkown who had two sons Gottlieb (abt 1860-1934) and Theophile (abt 1875-1965), and one daughter Auguste (abt 1870-1950). Does anyone have any information about these individuals?
