Deb,
Regrettably a gap like this is more likely a missing book which means that Catholic records if available would not fill the gap for you.

Subject: [Ger-Poland-Volhynia] Ilow Church Record Question
Hello all,
I have ordered the Ilow church records, microfilms 1196211 and 196212
and they have been on "backorder" for over a month. From what I
understand, SLC is moving some of their films from the old vault to the
new one so some films are unavailable during the move so I haven't been
able to take a look at the actual films yet so my question might be
premature but I just noticed today that there is a gap in the FHC
listing showing no records are available for 1800 to 1805. Is that in
fact the case, and if so, does anyone know of an alternative film I can
order, such as the Catholic records from the region to fill that gap?
I have a possible birth in 1805/1806 or 1808 that I am looking for.
Thanks for any help.
Debbie
