This obit was in the Ottawa Citizen today.  i know Kuehn is a fairly common
name, but I do know that there are several SGGEE members and/or those on
the Listserv that are chasing down this name.
Perhaps it is a connection.

His birthplace Cottbus, Germany is on the far eastern side of Germany today
and was once in Prussia. There is a photo on the link....
