Hi Eveline, When I was there you didn't need a reservation but that may have changed.

The Temple is only open to the public on certain days. The Library hours vary.

All building are not open to the public. Go on line to www.familysearch.org and you will find all your answers.

Also tips before you go. If you contact them where you want to search they will have it all ready for you. 

This will save you hours as some days are busy.
