Hi Betty -
I looked in my trusty old Meyers-Orts -1912 gazetteer - most LDS places have a set - in Volume II, page 644:
Rüderoth; a Dorf (village) in Prussia, Hessen-Nassau- government district Wiesbaden. There were 270 residents as of 1910, there is a Standesamt, and an Evangelical parish.
Meyers-Orts is a bible for us Germanic researchers - I wouldn't rely on Google for anything. Prussia covered a huge swath of several countries, Germany and Poland and others, at various times, so it helps to look at old maps and histories too.
The Rheinland and Hessen-Nassau are both in present-day Deutschland.
You can write it as Ruederoth, but for Germans it should be Rüderoth (using the ALT key and 129 on the ASCII keys to the right).

Subject: [Ger-Poland-Volhynia] Place Name
Does anyone know the location RUENDEROTH, RHEINLAND, PRUSSIA? Is in Germany or
Poland?
It was shown as the birthplace of someone who may be an ancestor although to my
knowledge this ancestor was born in Poland. JewishGen Gazetteer or Kartenmeister
came up with nothing. Is Google correct placing it in Germany?
