Kris, I happen to have a German road atlas at my elbow, and there is no
Roshen listed. There is, however, a Rosian just a few miles east of
Magdeburg, which could sound like Roshen if not pronounced clearly.

Subject: [Ger-Poland-Volhynia] Place in Germany
Hi all,
Does the place Roshen exist or did it exist in Germany?
A bit of controversy here: my ggrandparents claim everywhere to be from
Zhitomir, however they claim on the death certificate for one of their sons
to have been born in Roshen, Germany.
Kris
