I agree with Peter that this location is more likely. There were many 
immigrants from West Prussia to the US in the mid-19th century. There 
are very few German residents in the Lubelskie Streczyn as early as 1858 
when one of the Zander children was born; by 1900 there were many 
Germans in "Neu-Strentschin" aka Streczyn Nowe. Tammy, I suggest that 
you examine ship manifests for other relatives or friends related to 
this family to see what region they emigrated from. That should help you 
determine the location.
