On the outside chance that "morgownik" might not refer to a profession, there is a village called Morgowniki just across the Narew River from Nowogród, Łomża, Poland.  I am currently researching a Polish family that lived there.   If it is a profession, it would be infrequently used since it isn't  listed as an occupation in the Polish volume of "In Their Words" by Jonathan Shea and William Hoffman.  Their list is quite exhaustive.
