Also Paul and Linda, the person helping me said that we saw tax records in Poznan archive that proved that my ancestors were landowners. We we moving so fast that I did not see these. I need to go back again for many reasons, but also need the help of this wonderful researcher. I really haven't been able to talk with her since I got back because she said she was closing down a hostel or something.  Carol
