[Ger-Poland-Volhynia] Children Without Fathers

Thanks to everyone who responded to my question about
children without fathers. 


In reading church records, I have come across the
occasional unwed mother but found it strange that between the years 1863 to
1865 there were so many. 


It is interesting that some things never change and
children born out of wedlock is nothing 

new.
