[Ger-Poland-Volhynia] Kaspari = Lorentz ??

The surname Kaspari shows up just 6 times in the SGGEE MPD database, mainly associated with a family/group of families near Konin. I have seen an alegata in the Lublin archive coming from Konin where the mother is Emilie Kaspari and in another alegata document coming from Lodz she is Emilie Lorentz. 


Has anyone ever seen such a strange conversion? Can there be another explanation for this? The MPD has her as Kaspari.
