Lynda,
In the 1900 census look at the citizenship columns, (16, 17).
It should tell you the year of immigration and how many years
the family have been in the US. That might help to find the
right passenger list.
Also, a little more detail might make the family easier to find,
what were the names of the children born in Germany? Where did the
family live in the US?
