Dan,

I guess we are not yet perfect.   When the database search engine is 
programed from scratch, then we need good eyes to catch errors, and it 
appears you have good eyes.  Thank you for sharing the problem.

I did as you did, and did a normal search in the MPD using just the 
surname Hirsekorn, and I got, as you did, 257 returns.   The problem is 
that there are 252 Hirsekorn records in the MPD database, and with our 
method of making an additional data line to show additional marriages, 
then we should have 274 returns (if my addition is correct).   Here is 
how I manually counted the additions- 12 Hirsekorns were married twice, 
and 5 were married three times each, for a total increase of 22.

Our technical expert will review this and see what the error in 
programming is.
