[Ger-Poland-Volhynia] Surname: Schuetpelz

  Hello Again Beth, Albert,

      I found August Schuettpelz, wife Caroline and baby Emma in the
  Hamburg passenger lists. The list gave their last residence as
  Gaffert, Preussen - and the village Gaffert, Kr Stolp, was in the
  parish Budow, so the marriage information in the family tree Al
  found looks very likely.

       The August Schuettpelz family left Hamburg, 24 August 1877,
  on the ship "Hansa" to Hull, took the train to Liverpool, and then
  took a larger ship to cross to America. (On their train journey
  they would have passed a few yards from where my office is now.)

      I would guess that the other Schuettpelz families who came to
  Oconto Co in the 1870s would have been relatives of August, from much
  the same area of Pomerania.
