This info may be of some help regarding Betty's Mailing List posting requesting help in identifying the maiden name of Wilhelmine (?)married to Gottfried Neuman of Kalisch.  The Marriage Database of the Poznan Project at www.poznan-project.psnc.pl contains an entry for a marriage of Johann Gottfried Neuman to Wilhelmine Kathner.  I am not very familiar with the database but it does not seem clear to me that it  includes other helpful verifying info such as date, ages, parents, exact location in Posen(Poznan) etc. However the database website seems to contain instructions on how to obtain the actual record for these marriages in the Posen area in the 1800s and I believe Kalisch (birthplace of Gottfried) is in the Posen area, so it may be a lead to follow.
