If anyone is looking for photos of the Warthegau region, there are a number in the searchable German Picture Archive -

An explanation of the EWZ categories of Germans - I, II, III, IV . Most were in the II level - those who had retained their German language and culture. There's also an image of the poster declaring the creation of the Volksliste dated in 1939 as ordered by Arthur Greiser, the Gauleiter of the Warthegau region.
