According to Ulrich Mertens' Handbuch Rußland - Deutsche, a Berestowiec in the Lutheran parish of Kostopol had 153 Families/130 Students in 1938; a Berestowez in the Tutschin (Tuczyn) parish 412 inhabitants in 1904.

Would anyone know the population of Berestowice (Berestovets, Berestowiec), of the Kostopol District in 1925?  and in 1939?  Also when the Germans would have been relocated from this city.
