I found Herman with his parents in 1911 Canadian census at Strathcona,
Alberta, which put it into context for me.  the parents are in the SGGEE
master pedigree database, but not Herman.

Someone offered to check on the guy who died in BC in 1975, did so, and it
is the wrong man.

I have the same question as Dave Obee. Where is Ewin, Poland?
