I really appreciate this list and how helpful everyone is. Thank you for all the links posted in the last few days. I am feeling very frustrated with myself because I can't seem to figure out where to look for my ancestors and if this online information would be helpful to me. For example I have someone born in Wladyslawow, Radziejow, Bydgoszcz. I have a couple married in Sompolno. Is there a website or cheat sheet that will help me figure out what archives and or jurisdicition my ancestors villages would be found.
Thank you,
Gail Wilson

o all, The link forwarded by Michael Stockhausen only shows the parishes which
ave been digitized by the main branch of the Poznan Archives. If you want to
ee which parishes have been digitized by the Konin branch go to this
ink:http://www.poznan.ap.gov.pl/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=163&Itemid=80
ere are some links that will take you directly to some of the parishes which
ay be of special interest to SGGEE members: Dabie (Dombie) Lutheran parish for
he years 1826-1856:http://szukajwarchiwach.pl/54/852/0/6.1/#tab2 Dabie (Dombie)
atholic parish. The years of 1808-1825, before the formation of the Lutheran
arish, hold many German names, especially from the locations of Dabie (Dombie),
aranowiec, Dabskie Holendry, Labedz (Labendz), Lusie, Mrowisko, and
alaski:http://szukajwarchiwach.pl/54/741/0/6.1/#tab2 Kolo Lutheran parish for
he years 1843-1858:http://szukajwarchiwach.pl/54/854/0/6.1/#tab2 Boryslawice
atholic parish. Here you will find many German names mainly from the villages
f Zawadka and Felicjanow during the period 1811-1843:http://szukajwarchiwach.pl/54/730/0/6.1/#tab2
ierzwienna Catholic parish. Many German names mainly from the villages of
ubonskie Holendry, Kamionka, Tarnowka, Laczowka, etc., during the period
808-1835:http://szukajwarchiwach.pl/54/727/0/6.1/str/2/#tab2 When you have
licked one of these links you must click the year that you are interested in.
n the next page click the cell "Digital copies (xx)" and you will arrive at the
ages holding the scans. It has been my experience that when using the Internet
xplorer browser the scans are not properly enlarged. It is better to use other
rowsers, such as Firefox, Google Chrome, or Opera. Have fun. Jan Textor > From:

Posen
This is a fantastic resource, folks, especially if your genealogy tracks
through Posen / Poznan Province! But it also includes several dozen places
in what would be the far western portion of Russian Poland from roughly
Dabie in the east to Sompolno in the north and almost to Wielun in the
south.
These are ***actual online original records***, not just indices.
The only records which I spot checked were those from Roman Catholic
Churches. There may be Evangelical (Lutheran) records as well. In any case,
you may need some of the Catholic ones if there was no Lutheran Church in
the region.
We should be very grateful for people like Petra and her fellow researchers
who find these resources and then take the time to make them easier to use.
Jerry
