The rural history book South Edmonton Saga contains the story of Johann
Hammermeister and his wife Amelia Renas. They immigrated to the Ellerslie
district in 1894 and later moved to Tacoma, Washington. There are also
stories of their son Emil and Louise (Vogel) Hammermeister and grandson
Herbert and Gladys (Gutknecht) Hammermeister. There are also photos.
Perhaps you already have these articles. If not, I will be glad to scan the
4 pages and send them to you by e-mail.
