On the occasion of my mother's 80th birthday, Alice Kurtz nee Krause (born 1930 in Tuchin (Tuczyn), I searched the Internet for a missing loved one.  He emigrated to Canada in 1929 via Danzig. His name was Teodor Ponto.

Under www.collectionscanada.gc.ca, I have found some of his data. He arrived on 03/30/1930 in St. John on the Montclare.

According to stories of my great-grandmother Maria Ponto and my grandmother Anna Krause born Ponto, he lived in Regina and called himself Ted Ponto. In 1939 my family had to flee from Volhynia and we broke off contact.

His mother was Maria Ponto and his father's name was (Johann) Daniel Ponto.

Can you help me determine what happened to him and if relatives are living or where I can continue to search?

Laut Erzählungen meiner Urgroßmutter Maria Ponto und meiner Großmutter Anna Krause geb. Ponto lebte er in Regina und nannte sich Ted Ponto. 1939 mußte meine Familie aus Wolynien flüchten. Dadurch brach der Kontakt ab.
Seine Mutter war Maria Ponto und der Vater hieß (Johann) Daniel Ponto
Können sie mir weiterhelfen, was aus ihm geworden ist, bzw. ob es noch Verwandte gibt oder wo ich noch suchen kann.
