[Ger-Poland-Volhynia] German migration to Poland? (South Prussia)

Certainly when Prussia took over the central part of Poland that became South Prussia, there was extensive migration from other German localities into that region.  Most of these people stayed there even when Napoleon and later Russia took it over.
