[Ger-Poland-Volhynia] Rengas Radzymin Warsaw Government, request for info

Edith,
I suspect that Rengas is mistranslated or misinterpreted. It is not a
place name as far as I can determine. Radzymin would be the nearest
county town to Lesniakowizna and it was also the nearest Lutheran parish
center. Unfortunately, few records are available for that parish which
will really complicate your search for earlier than 1894.
While passports themselves can hold valuable info about a place of
birth, I have not heard of anyone who has successfully traced any info
from the place where the passports were likely to have been issued.
Would be nice to hear if anyone has had such success.
