[Ger-Poland-Volhynia] genealogy program

Hi,
I have a friend that is looking for a genealogy program that uses 
symbols for birth, marriage, burials and deaths. I have seen some German 
records like this but don't know what program was used. My friend is 
looking for one like this as she is going to be sharing information with 
other family members that do not speak English or write English.
