[Ger-Poland-Volhynia] Luth. parish records of Wegrow/Wengrow?

I have no idea if this is helpful, but I do have a german
exemplification of a 1856 birth record from Wengrow. It was issued by
the Sippenstelle at Krakau on MAR 21 1943. Could that mean, the records
were kept in Krakow when they went missing?
