Hi John,
Erwin has indeed common anestors with us! His grandpa Friedrich Hildebrandt is a son of Ludwig, who again is a son of Johann August Hildebrandt. J A Hildebrandt married Frederike Krueger who is a great granddaughter of Johann Schultz and Dorothea Elisabeth Pfarr. These are our common ancestors!
To me his common ancestors are already JA Hildebrandt and Frederike Krueger which are my 2nd greatgrandparents.
I already wrote a mail to Erwin, but I have not yet received an answer. I know that his sister is living in Germany. Maybe I will try to contact her later, for I will leave for a holiday in the Netherlands on Tuesday.
I hope that you are all fine. Have a good Sunday.
Kind regards from Cologne
Margrit Weigel
