That is a possibility. I will try to investigate that further. Do you know if August Keding b: 1888-migrated to the US through Canada?? I know that Gotlieg Keding (1883) first went to Canada before going to the US.

I have an ancestor, Emma Erdman who was the second wife of August Keding 
born on May 12, 1888, Vladimir, Russia.? From what I can determine, this 
August Keding's father was named Gottlieb.? Perhaps Gottlieb was a brother 
of your August Keding.? August died in Gladwin, Michigan on August 4, 
1962.
